Directions & Parking

The start location is New Hope Solebury Upper Elementary School 186 W Bridge St, New Hope, PA 18938
Registration and the Start & Finish area are located by the school’s front door 

The Elementary School is located off the service road running between Bridge St (where the High School is visible from) and Lower York Rd.   The service road goes past the High School, Middle School and Elementary Schools on one side and athletic fields and courts on the other side.

We have the Elementary School Parking Lot Reserved for us, so parking here is free. 

Since parking is limited, arrive early to ensure getting a spot.  Carpooling is suggested.  There are only about 90 parking spaces at the Elementary School proper.  You may park your vehicles in any lined (non-handicap) spot in the lot in front of the school entrance, or in the back, in the playground area. 

If you park at the High School (182 W. Bridge St), Middle School, or other lots on campus, parking fees are collected by student groups (all proceeds benefit clubs & sports teams).  Fees and collection times vary from day-to-day.  If you park on school premises before fees are collected, the school district permits the student groups to collect fees from you when you leave.  Demand for parking here is particularly high on Shadfest weekend.  Parking Fees are scheduled to be $5

Canal Park: located on River Rd. (PA-32) just north of the US-202 Bridge.
Magill’s Hill Park: located at River Rd (PA-32) & Chapel Rd, New Hope, PA 18938

Parking is extremely limited in New Hope; most of the town has metered parking and privately run parking lots.  Check street signs carefully for parking regulations.
